So, what is for Thanksgiving Dinner?

 

My sister, Paula, is making the turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing.  We are making Squash Casserole (thanks Cheryl W), Green Bean Casserole, Sweet Potato Casserole, Banana Pudding, and Pumpkin Roll (thanks Shannon W).
Yummy Squash Casserole - even non-squash likers like it!

Don't ask! I can't go to sleep until the last two (of eight!) pies I just cranked up for tomorrow are out of the oven. When my children were small and I was alone with them in this country, I started what they now consider a tradition to have four pies for thanksgiving (what did I know, we didn't observe Thanksgiving where I was from!). Thirty five years later they still insist on "the four pies": French apple tart, pecan, pumpkin and ... chocolate cream pie. With the mob expected at my son's tomorrow, I thought it best to make two of each. Bon appetit! Or rather Happy Thankgiving... but isn't it the same anyway?
